Bio

I received my B.A. degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College – a liberal arts school in Massachusetts. Before moving to Massachusetts for my undergraduate studies, I lived in Nepal, where I was born and raised. While at Mount Holyoke College, I started my research career in an organic synthesis lab, where I investigated an approach to supramolecular assembly using active methylene compounds with Professor Darren Hamilton. I then continued my work at a materials and surface chemistry lab with Professor Wei Chen, where I worked on surface characterization of PDMS surfaces using adsorption of PVOH.
