Viktor Brus received his PhD in Solid State Electronics from the Institute for Problems of Materials Science of NAS of Ukraine in 2012. During 2012 - 2015 he worked as an assistant professor at Chernivtsi National University and a postdoc at University of California at Santa Barbara with Prof. T.-Q. Nguyen. During 2015 - 2017 he was a  Postdoctoral Fellow at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie GmbH on behalf of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in the group of Prof. N.H. Nickel. His research interests are in the field of materials science and physics of semiconductor devices.
